A milled, granular 5-micron amorphous powder — not a condensed sub-micron nano-fume. It scoops, pours and cleans up like a conventional mineral powder, so skin-contact handling on the batch floor is a fundamentally different proposition to imported silica fume.

Is ECOFUME a 1:1 drop-in replacement for silica fume? +
Up to full replacement in mix designs, subject to validation on your specific mix. Meets ASTM C1240. AAR suppression verified against ARRB RC 4326. Our technical team supports trial-tonnage validation and on-site batching at no cost.
What does the 3-year price guarantee actually cover? +
The per-tonne rate for your contracted volume is locked for 36 months, escalated only to CPI-indexed Australian energy and freight. It is never exposed to FX, container rates, or global silica-fume spot pricing — because ECOFUME is manufactured domestically from domestic feedstock.
What does the 3-year supply guarantee mean in practice? +
Your contracted monthly tonnage is ring-fenced from our Brendale stockpile and production plan. If we fail to deliver the contracted volume, we underwrite the substitute cost — language your procurement team can point to directly against delivery-risk clauses.
How does ECOFUME compare on respiratory exposure? +
Silica fume is ~0.1 μm — condensed, sub-micron, with airborne-dust considerations at every touchpoint (loading, batching, cleaning). ECOFUME is 5 μm — a milled, amorphous, granular powder that handles like a conventional SCM under standard dust controls. All silica-bearing materials still require respirable-crystalline-silica controls under Australian WHS regulations; ECOFUME reduces the exposure profile, it doesn't remove the duty.
Why is supply offered on a regional-exclusivity basis? +
Nine regions nationally. In each region we execute one batch-plant agreement and one civil-contractor agreement on the 3yr price + 3yr supply guarantee — nobody else in that region gets those terms. It ensures we can responsibly underwrite supply against current Brendale capacity and gives our regional partners a genuine competitive wedge in tenders.
Is there a trial-volume option before I commit? +
Yes. Applicants receive a validation-mix consult and trial tonnage from our Brendale stockpile. No infrastructure investment is required on your side — trial material is batched under standard dust-control practices.
